East High is taken by storm when Troy, the star captain of the school's basketball team, and Gabriella, a brainy new student, discover they have a passion for singing! Together, along with their friends Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, Kelsi, Zeke, and more, they take their place in the spotlight setting off a chain of events that puts all of East High into a musical frenzy! So don't "Stick to the Status Quo", it's the "Start of Something New" so "Get'cha Head in the Game" because "We're All in this Together"!
