Kismet Kids Musical Theatre enrichment programs are available to come to your school!
Musical theatre builds confidence, encourages self-expression, increases resilience, fosters a sense of accomplishment, provides positive reinforcement, boosts public speaking and communication skills, and develops teamwork among peers!
Whether an after-school program, or as part of your curriculum, KKMT programs are designed for children aged 6 and up from the first-time performer to the theatre aficionado. Weekly rehearsals include acting, singing, and dancing instruction in a fun and encouraging environment. All participants receive a speaking role, and at the end of the 12-week program, the children shine on stage in a production for family and friends. The emphasis of the program is the overall experience, where each child is nurtured through the process in an ensemble atmosphere.
The program includes the following:
· Staff Members (Director, Music Director, Choreographer, Assistant)
· Acting Instruction
· Singing Instruction
· Dance Instruction
· Materials (scripts, music link, supplies)
· Scenery backdrop and props
· Costume rental
· Sound technician and equipment (if needed)
· Insurance coverage for program staff and participants
Based on the needs of your school, we can also provide tickets, t-shirts, and performance programs. Additional staff members will be added as needed, based on enrollment. All staff members are fingerprinted/live scanned for background clearance.
Depending on what you are looking for, we will be able to accommodate a winter show, a spring show, or both! Rehearsals will be conducted at your school, either in the afternoon or during the day. Dress/Tech rehearsals will be conducted in the final week before the performances.
Our Kismet Kids enrichment program is a partnership, where we will bring our years of knowledge, expertise, and love of children’s musical theatre to your students. Profit sharing and fund-raising opportunities are available for your school!
